my favorite thing to do is manipulate collections of symbols according to various rules that govern them. I do this constantly. it is how I spend most of my time. the reason I enjoy this so much is unknown. there are various implements I utilize to do this, and their paraphernalia litter my living space. their various physical properties are important to me. for instance, how they sound and feel is very important to me.
